Test map now committed test/hide_distance_bug.map The corner diagonally opposite player start has a house model set hide_distance 500. The diagonal is about 900. In 1.02 it is invisible at start until you walk to about the middle. In 1.03 and SVN it is visible always. Can't think how to demo the other spawnargs clearly. Hopefully they are part of the same code and when that is re-enabled they will too. |

LOD works again, also fixed a bug with hidden entities having origin = 0,0,0 leading to "blinking". Added an aphrodite Statue to the map to show that LOD works (and the statue changes detail when you come closer/get further away - use r_showTris and the spyglas to see it change!) and also entities with only "hide_distance" but not "dist_check_period" (like the house) work again by assuming "0.5" for the period if it isn't defined, but a hide_distance is set. |
