Can't we just create a DarkMod.cfg in the update package that's a copy of DoomConfig.cfg? The updater could skip over it at update time if it already finds it there, as it does for DoomConfig.cfg. It might already be doing this. Let the engine sort it out the first time it runs. At least it'll have default settings. |

The config that should be in the release package is: devel/release/Darkmod.cfg However, the file there is still named "devel/release/DoomConfig.cfg". That is probably why it isn't picked up. Also base.txt is correct: 12:./devel/release/Darkmod.cfg => ./Darkmod.cfg 100:./devel/release/tdm_version.txt => ./tdm_version.txt 102:./devel/release/default.cfg => ./default.cfg while devel/manifests/darkmod.txt has the wrong enty (but I am unsure if this file is actually used, if not, we should delete it. Me thinks it represents the state of v1.07 and will only be updated manually after we update to v1.08). 3510:./devel/release/DoomConfig.cfg => ./DoomConfig.cfg |

Renamed the file with revision 13166. Please check the contents of devel/release/Darkmod.cfg (for old entries) and also check that it now works. If so, this can be closed. |

Verified that this is working now. TDM comes up fine to the main menu. |
