Description | models/darkmod/lights/non-extinguishable/squarehanginglamp.lwo has a chain composed of two strips at right angles to one another. This uses the material tdm_streetlamp_metal, but at some point someone commented out the 'twosided' keyword in the material, so depending on angle one or both of the chain strips may be invisible to the player. | ||||

Hmm. I skinned the model with a twosided version of the material, and it fixed the problem in DR but not in TDM. | |
I'll fix the model so the keyword isn't needed. | |
I don't understand why the model is fixed instead of just reverting the material to it's original form (twosided) how it was in 2.06 (I think). Currently at least these 2 models still use the onesided (chain) material: hanging_builder_symbol.lwo sign_shieldshape01.lwo I've already seen this issue in 3 missions. I made (material) fixes for 2 missions. But who knows how many other missions are affected. |
