Description | This could be filed under combat, but the "Defensive Charge" we had talked about, where AI shield their face while charging to attack, is fairly important IMO. It's currently quite easy to alert a guard, then hit them in the face with your arrow as they run at you. One arrow is usually enough to kill them, and I'd hate to see all mappers adding "No kill" objectives to get around this. That should be as easy as a separate run animation and calling it when the AI is running towards the player and detects a bow (the code for detecting that already exists for evasion behaviour, I believe). |
