| Description | When you close a door with a visPortal, closing the visPortal, as soon as the visPortal closes it blocks door-sounds on the portal side, making them sound very distant. This includes the closing-door sound (which cuts off mid-way through) and even more critically lock-picking sounds on the closed door making picking almost impossible by sound. Sounds on the opposite (non-portal, no-draw) side are just fine. If you spin the visPortal around, it fixes it for one side but then the other side loses sound. If you move the visPortal in front of the door, of course then it blacks out the door when closed. If you move the visPortal back, it will eventually be outside of the door and not be closeable. I haven't tested every place to see if there's a sweet spot where the sound remains. This may have something to do with where the door sounds originate with relation to the plane of the visPortal. It may be worth mentioning, for an analogy, that Dromed doors had the same problem when you used one room-brush for a door space, and the fix there was use two room brushes on each side of the door, so the sound would propogate out each side independently, but still block the sound from the other side of the door. | ||||
