As discussed in the above thread, there is currently no way to create traps that cause damage each time they are triggered.

One solution would be to allow Stims to become active when triggered, fire their max_fire_count, and then go inactive until/unless triggered again.

Traps could then fire a damage stim once when triggered, but could fire again if the trap is triggered again.

This addition would give stims more flexibility, and has a potential benefit to processing, as stims could be set to only start firing when needed.
