Summary | 0003518: Dodging AI melee attacks is too easy
Description | It is very easy to dodge an attacking AI. The shorter the enemy weapon, the more profound the effect. Here is a youtube video of a guard with a shortsword: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=7zp6r7_tMBc The AI's attack is simply avoided by taking a small step or two when the swing comes. This is a bit too easy. In a combat situation this 'footwork superiority' makes the player able to win too easily. I tested this against a longsword wielding enemy and it was too easy to dodge him too. I think the player should be required to use their sword to defend against the enemies. This kind of dodging is so effective, there is actually no point in parrying, which is more unreliable. This might be fixed if the AI did not completely halt when they attack, and they could move forward when attacking.
Steps To Reproduce | When the enemy attacks, simply run out of the swords way.
