Summary | 0003546: AI can have a problem with large doors
Description | An AI that doesn't have the key for a large locked gate will wait nearby for the gate to be opened, if he has nowhere else to be or nothing else to do. When the door is unlocked, the code notifies AI that have unsuccessfully tried to open the locked door that the door has become unlocked. This lets them retry the door. In L&L, the Concerned Citizen wants to go through the first gate between the Slums and the Commons. When I unlocked it for him, he tried to immediately go around me to get through the gate, even though it was still opening. It's a wide gate, and it swept him against a wall. He stayed pinned between the gate and the wall while I went on into the Commons. So, 2 problems: 1 - Perhaps the notification shouldn't be so immediate, to allow the door to swing open 2 - Even though AI have code that lets them re-close a door that they're stuck behind, it didn't work in this situation. There might be a problem with the amount of space between the door and the wall. Needs work.
