Summary0004528: DarkRadiant crashes KWin when desktop compositing is enabled (KDE)
DescriptionOn various occasions (such as saving or when certain windows pop up) DarkRadiant causes KWin to crash and restart. This only seems to happen when KDE desktop compositing is enabled, and using DR with desktop effects turned off prevents those crashes. No other program I use ever causes this problem, so it must be specific to DarkRadiant.

Note that the issue is somewhat probabilistic, and it's hard to tell exactly at which point it happens and what the cause might be. If any other KDE / Plasma 5 user has DarkRadiant, please test this and post about your experience here.
Additional InformationI compile DarkRadiant from latest Git master of https://github.com/codereader/DarkRadiant My operating system is Linux (openSUSE Tumbleweed / KDE).

DarkRadiant is using wxWidgets as GUI backend, which in turn is relying on GTK on Linux systems. Codewise, there's not much I can do about this, if even harmless things like opening a dialog is crashing the Window Manager itself.

(I understand that you're not experiencing this problem with other programs, but that maybe due to not many programs running on your system that are based on wxWidgets *and* are using openGL.)
