| Summary | 0005653: DarkRadiant becomes unresponsive when alt-tab switching to other applications |
|---|
| Description | DarkRadiant will often freeze and permanently become unresponsive when alt-tab switching to other windows. This appears to happen if I have another sub-window open while switching to the window of another application, for instance the entity inspector (N key). This is probably a Linux / DE related bug... my distribution is Manjaro and I use KDE / Plasma Desktop (X11 not Wayland). I tried running DR in a console to get more information, unfortunately no errors are printed during the freeze... reproducing could be problematic as it appears to depend on specific circumstances. |
|---|
| Steps To Reproduce | Open a map, select an entity, press N to open the entity inspector. With the extra window on the screen, open another application... for example press the printscreen key to take a screenshot then save it. When you switch back to DR you should find that it's frozen and completely unresponsive. For Linux users, may or may not be KDE specific. |
