|Summary||0006078: Material Editor: preview object should match aspect of texture|
|Description||The preview object is always a cube/sphere/plane of equal side length, but a lot of textures are wider than they are tall. This causes textures to appear squashed and blurry, in particular ones like textures/darkmod/metal/detailed/beam_rusty_victorian02 and 03. Maybe the preview object (at least the cube and plane) could automatically match the shape of the image?|
If images with different ratios are used by the same material, maybe the diffusemap should win. Might make sense to offer a field in the "Preview Scene Properties" to manually specify the dimensions of the preview object for such cases.
