Description | Setting 'r_showtris 2' lights up the light gem. This setting is frequently used by mappers to verify visportals and troubleshoot performance. Values of 1 or 3 do not brighten the light gem. When it lights up the light gem, guards see you and start chasing you which interrupts testing. It's basically just annoying. Is there a reason it does this? You can set 'notarget ON' as a workaround but that shouldn't be necessary. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | Start any FM and open the console. Type 'r_showtris 2' and observe the light gem. If you do it with a guard nearby they will see you and attack. Set r_showtris to 1 or 3 and observe the light gem darken. | ||||
