Summary | 0006390: Add movements reverse mantle and drop from hanging
Description | When a player is high up they can crouch before moving down the ledge to ease the fall somewhat (presumably because their lower center of gravity reduces the time gravity can affect their mass during the fall). A player may want to lower that center of gravity even further by climbing down the ledge and hang by their fingers before releasing. This may be useful in Tears of St. Lucia, after traversing the beam in the church hall and reaching the west end. Suggested solution: * Implement movements "reverse mantle" and "drop from hanging". ** "reverse mantle" could be triggered by looking down at a ledge and walk-mantling. ** "drop from hanging" could be triggered by walk-mantling again (i.e. "complete the movement started by mantling") * There should also be a way to cancel the movement (i.e. to climb back up). Possibly the jump-button, because the jump button is used to perform a similar pull-up movement when jumping up onto a ledge.
Additional Information | There are currently two different ways to mantle up on something: walk-mantle, and jump-mantle. The latter can be used to mantle ledges above the player's head.
