| Summary | 0006411: Add visual cue indicating throw power | ||||
| Description | Currently, a player can throw things with different power by holding down throw button longer, but there is no visual cue indicating how hard the throw will be. A visual indicator will increase player's precision and may encourage throwing precision challenges in missions (similar to 0006428). Proposal: * When starting to throw, display a measurement bar (above the lightgem, like the breathbar, but another color, maybe light green) with power oscillating from minimum left to maximum right and then back down again. When player releases, the object is thrown with the power indicated in the bar. If player releases at less that 15 % then nothing is thrown (the player cancelled the throw, similar to getting tired when drawing a bow). Reaching maximum from minimum can take some 1-2 seconds. In reality it may take less time to place arm in position to throw maximum but the measurement bar should not oscillate too fast to prevent player from throwing with precision so one may have to find a balance there. In the (unexpected) event the player is throwing something when underwater, have the throwbar temporarily replace the breathbar until the throw is completed or aborted, and then show the breathbar again. | ||||
