Summary | 0000662: AI cannot change current search goal on the fly?
Description | Not sure if that's what I'm seeing, but it seems so. I have both tdm_ai_showdest and tdm_ai_showgoalpos enabled. I then load up a map with myself and an AI in a dark room (the starting area of test/rope will do). I get the guard worked up by letting him see me, or by making loud footstep sounds. At this point, a goal is laid down, and the arrow to it is shown, and the AI starts walking that way. If the goal is far enough away, it's easy to observe the following behavior: run up all around the guard, and despite all the noise and commotion you make, he won't change his current goal until he reaches it. Once he does reach it, he'll target your current position (or close to it) and you can move all around again, and repeat. That's one determined fellow!
