| Summary | 0001049: Blackjack angular cones not working with new melee system? | ||||
| Description | I haven't tested it yet myself, but there are reports of being able to blackjack AI in the face when they're alert and should only have a cone to the back of their head. Could also be AF body problems. | ||||

I just checked into the KO calculations, and the angular cones still work. What's happening though is that we're now using the AF body for the first gues at the collision, and because the AF body for the head isn't anchored to the correct joint, it's a bit behind the visible head. The blackjack KO cone is however anchored to the correct joint, so the cone center is forward of the AF body. This means that when you hit the front of the AF body, it's very easy to register a hit on the back half of the AI's head, because of the AF body being set back from the actual head center. Conclusion: AF body issue, needs modeler support, de-assigning this from myself |
