Saving and loading are different C functions which store their paths internally but do not share them, this needs factoring into a proper class with shared state between open and close operations. |

Beyond the first try I get the same result still. This might be the result of other paths getting lost though. I start DR new, open a map, small change, save as. Path is fine. Open another map (open path has changed, navigate back to maps folder), small change, save as. Now I'm in the /Doom3 folder, instead of maps. Edit: I really hate to mix symptoms like this, but it appears a lot of this is being caused probably by one lost value somewhere. If I open a map, and then Save As, I get a different path than I opened, as described above. However, if I do it again, I get bumped back yet another folder back. So rather than bog down the bugtracker with entries for every symptom, I'm appending this onto this one. It's getting very confusing as it is. |
