Summary0001236: impact sound problems
Descriptionmetallic sound being played when you hit the ground (dirt) with blackjack. Same when you hit carpets. Also when I hit some of the walls with blackjack (in the tavern or sewers for example) sometimes proper sound is being played and sometimes metal, depending on how far I stand from the wall.

Yes. Just tested on stone wall and dirt floor. Still gives metal impact sound every time. I noticed if I tried to hit a wood door I heard nothing.

Ok.

I don't think the problem with the wrong surface type can be fixed easily, as there is a bug in the closed source collision model manager, delivering bogus pointers back to our code. Ishtvan might know more about this.

Can those pointers be ignored and instead just always play one sound for all, eg, bj on wood is a dull thud I think. That would be reasonable on all hard surfaces and better than metal on soft surfaces.
