Keeping in mind the WIP nature of it all, but in the spirit of helping with issues early:

I was running a guard around a wall, thinking, "they're a little too easy to lose now... they continue to the point where they last saw me, which is good and "human", not omniscient which would of course suck, but they stop running and lose ability to follow completely now." But then I realized it's not just breaking LOS with, for instance, a wall. All you really have to do is wait till he's swinging at you, and then run circlestrafe or sideways to his side, or back. They'll lose sight of ya. Many times, they'll comment, "Think you're pretty smart, huh...?" and you're right behind or beside him.
