What do you mean by lock to the grid? Should it be moved around together with the origin when you pane the XYView around or do you want the picture dimensions to be locked to the grid? |

I believe picture dimensions already can be locked to the grid, with the 'zoom with viewport' feature, right? This is about a toggle on the dialog which then also holds the panning to the grid. So, the user opens the dialog, chooses a picture, enables 'zoom with viewport', positions the spot on the grid (or in their map) over the image exactly where they need it, and then clicks 'lock to grid', and now, whenever they pan around, the image stays fixed to their map. Otherwise, I'm not sure how it would be used? Every time you move the grid, you lose alignment with the photo. |

I'll look into it (though I can't quite see the practical use of aligning a orthoview structure to an actual photo). |
