| Description | Try this: Go to god mode, piss off a builder guard, and let him run up and start pummeling. At this point, it's very easy to stop being hit by doing any mix of the following: 1. Very slightly inching backward. Eventually they stop hitting you but keep swinging. 2. Crouch and if needed, inch backward a bit. This one's even easier to exploit. Of course during this, you cannot hit them either, but that barely matters really. I'd say they should really get in your face and stick you, rudely and aggressively. It is combat afterall. :) Edit: interestingly I'm not getting this (much or at all) with citywatch. | ||||

| I think we changed the combat range on the builder but not the citywatch. That value might need further tweaking. | |

Changed the way the AI determine whether the enemy is within melee range. This wqas a bounding box check before, so the distance was quite a bit higher diagonally. It's a distance check now. Crouching is still an issue, only the overhead swing can hit the crouched player, and the AI has to be really close. |

| I guess this should be resolved with the new combat system. At least we haven't heard any complaints from people playing the training map... | |
