Summary0001837: New skeleton ragdoll head not moving
DescriptionIf you look at the new skeleton ragdoll, the head never moves with respect to the chest. Something is wrong in the AF settings, probably the head joint it's supposed to modified changed from the old skeleton. If you use af_showbodies 1, you can see that the head AF does move back and forth when you grab it, but hte head model itself does not.

Ah, the head is attached to the Spine2 joint in the new skeleton, not the head joint. That's probably the cause of the problem.

I've changed the "head joint" to "spine2" in the ragdoll def file. Have to see if that fixes it.

This appears to be resolved. As far as I can tell, the skeleton head moves OK relative to the rest of the body on the ragdoll.

Are you sure? I tested this yesterday with a commoner ragdoll and the head did not move.

I was working all day with two ragdolls OK but maybe they're not the same skeletons; one a commoner and the other the skeleton.

The skull&bones skeleton is using a D3 skeleton. How recently did you update? The commoner was only switched the new skeleton within the last two days. I've tested again and still see no head movement when spawning a commoner_ragdoll.

Probably my mistake. I just chanced across this where you said you'd thought you'd fixed after spending a day dragging a skeleton which definitely had head movement so I jumped to conclusions. The commoner I took less notice of but it certainly didn't attract my attention that anything was wrong. Just ignore my notes, I'm sure if you think it's still wrong it probably is.
