Summary0001951: Idle animation resetting
DescriptionIdle animation resets after guards notice, then dismiss a minor noise which did not change the currently play animation. This causes a large jerk in the animation.

What kind of "large jerk" are we talking about? I've never noticed this.

The "large jerk" comes from the fact that the current idle animation (a good one IMO) has large movements, which makes the model's verts have more distance to travel when they are at there farthest positions away from their positions in the idle pose. To see them, just load up any map and jump up and down once or twice to get the attention of a guard. He should say "what was..." and then the animation will jump back to the idle pose (the start of the idle animation), just before he says something like "guess it was nothing"....
