Summary0001961: AI using same barks repeatedly?
DescriptionNote sure that this is a real problem as opposed to a perception issue. However, this might be worth examining:


This CVAR here might be interesting:

s_decompressionLimit 6
specifies maximum uncompressed sample length in seconds

Springheel or anybody else experiencing this problem. Can you check the value of this CVAR and try increasing its value (you probably need to restart the game to make sure it's effective)?

One more: if you set the CVAR s_showStartSound to 1 you can see the actual sound file in the console when the AI are barking or playing footstep sounds.

Please switch that on and watch the console output (or use condump after a while) to check whether the same sound file is used over and over.
