Summary0002003: AI keep passing alert back and forth to each other without further stimulus, never calm down
DescriptionSimilar to 0001942 (thought maybe this was that one, but they're not bumping or kicking anything; appears to be a separate cause of same problem).

I'm standing in Spitter's church40.map (betamapper folders) which is basically a big open church with a decent number of AI.

I walked up to the guard in the middle, alerting him, then immediately went notarget and god. I tabbed back to my other machine to continue work. In the meantime, now 20 mins later, the AI are _still_ running around like lunatics, threatening me with taunts about the Lord Builder and calling me names like knave. I tabbed back, put it in debug mode (showing alert level) and watched -- one lunatic guard was running around, alert level in the teens, and every time he runs past a calmed down guard (alert level 1-4), he ramps them back up to 7 or 9 or higher. Then as he runs back, he catches someone else, who then ramps him back up. It's like a chain reaction that either cannot stop, or will stop eventually with enough luck, because they keep setting each other off, even though I'm completely removed from the picture (notarget).

Edit: just to be sure: an hour later, the chain reaction is still going.

The problem was the guy in FleeDoneState. The state never terminated itself, sending other guard to full alert every time they walked by. FleeDoneState terminates itself now when the alert number has decreased below alert index 3 (searching).
