DescriptionI'm trying to use darkradiant as a base for our own map editor (currently uforadiant is based on gtkradiant 1.5)

you did a really great job to clean the codebase up - what i'm trying to do now, is to get a map plugin back into darkradiant that is able to read q2 map files. but the brushtoken importer and exporter are in the core and are d3 specific. i know that this isn't a priority for you, but imo it's a small design issue to have a map plugin, but still be bound to the format that core is dictating.

I guess this should be feasible for the future DarkRadiant 1.2.x release.

Fixed. The new GlobalMapFormatManager allows to register various types of primitive parsers (with the mapdoom3 plugin implementing brushDef3, patchDef2 and patchDef3 parsers). A parser able to read the old brushDef format is to be written as next step (see 0001481), but I guess this gives you some freedom to implement your own module for Q2 maps?
