Summary0002209: Alert entity proposal
DescriptionAt times a mapper wants to deliberately trigger and control an alert, for instance, from a siren or alarm bell or some other event. So a target entity eg, atdm:target_set_alertlevel would be useful to target particular AI. In addition, some means to trigger all AI within an area. AI are alerted by sounds so some kind of sound alerter perhaps with perhaps a default silent sound but settable to eg, an alarm bell.

A first stab of this has been implemented with revision 11732. The propagated sound does not yet alert the AI, this needs debugging. Also more testing.

Implemented as atdm:alarm script object and atdm:alarm_sound and atdm:stop_alarm and atdm:start_alarm entities.

The alarm entity now uses its own propagated sound, and thus draws AI. It is now also possible to modify the volume of the propagated sound via spawnarg.

The thing simplemented should work, everything else (visual alarm via lights, modifiying the alert_factor via spawnarg) is left for some other time.
