Summary0002215: Startup configuration dialog crashes DR when the InstallPath registry key is absent (manual DOOM 3 install)
DescriptionTitle is self-explanatory. On first startup, in the game path selection screen, DarkRadiant crashes to desktop on OK after inputting a correct Doom 3 path, when the InstallPath value of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\id\Doom 3 is absent - or when the key itself is absent.

Such is the case when you do a manual Doom 3 install.
Steps To Reproduce- Remove the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\id\Doom 3 key;
- Start DR, open the path selection dialog, choose Doom 3, enter the correct path;
- Click OK.

Updated steps to reproduce:
- Remove the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\id\Doom 3 key;
- Empty the C:\Users\{username}\DarkRadiant folder;
- Start DR, open the path selection dialog, choose Doom 3, enter the correct path;
- Click OK.

I don't have that Registry key at all on this system here and DR doesn't crash.

Can you confirm that this issue is still there in more recent DarkRadiant versions?

I confirm that the bug has been fixed in 1.6.1+
Launching DR without any registry entries works perfectly now.
