| Summary | 0000225: Texture lock for patches? | ||||
| Description | I'm not sure if this will be possible, but I noticed that toggling texture lock off doesn't work for patches. Could it? It does not in DoomEd either apparently. I've got a particular texturing issue I'm trying to work out which this would enable; I'll raise that question on the forum. | ||||

I've figured out an acceptable (not perfect) way to achieve what I was trying to do with arches, by backing up a step and using neighboring brushes to supply alignment. That said, the question still stands: could texture lock work for patches, or is it impossible with the way they are handled? No priority here. |

| Not possible IMO. Patches are UV-mapped per vertex, and as they can be bent wildly in 3D space, the transformation can hardly be mapped to texture space. | |
| Fair 'nuff; withdrawn. | |
