| Summary | 0002552: Join 'hips' not found | ||||
| Description | The game won't load and play any levels that has the proguard ai (I think that is the root of the problem at least) because it doesn't seem to be able to find the hipbone in his skeleton. Here's the full message: "Joint 'Hips' not found for attachment position 'hip_sheath_L' on entity 'atdm_ai_builder_guard_1'" I've had this error for a long time and because of it I've barely been able to play any maps (so far only Training Mission, Glenham, Thiefs Den, ST Albans Caduceus and NHAT1) and I've received it on (among many more) NHAT2 and ST Albans Cathedral. I'm not sure if it is related to this problem but most of the time when I try to play a mission I press start, get to the objectives screen (maybe shop first, I'm not sure) and when I press start from there the mission will load until it's almost done, revert to the objectives screen and when I press start again some of it will load but then the hip-message pops up and cancels it all. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | I just have to try to load St Albans Cathedral, NHAT2 or mostly any other map and I get the same problem. I doubt most anyone else gets the same problems, though. | ||||
| Additional Information | Here's my specs: - Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit - AMD 965 Phenom II x4 3.4 GHz - 4 gb DDR3 RAM - nVidia GTX 275 - DirectX 11 - Every video setting except AA and AF is maxed out at a resolution of 1920*1200. I have tried both removing and re-installing TDM and Doom 3 but the problem persisted. I'm also using the Steam version of Doom 3 but I seem to get the same problem with the retail one. I've had this problem in both TDM 1.02 and 1.03. I haven't downloaded the latest version from SVN yet but I'm betting that the problem is still there. I'm not sure if Animation is really the right category for this so feel free to move it. I don't think anyone else might be able to reproduce the problem so I just chose N/A for that. This bug is blocking me from so I chose block in the severity menu, but I'm not sure that's right either. So if anything looks strange feel free to change it. | ||||
