| Summary | 0002766: AI giving "to combat" bark, then immediately "Lost player" bark | ||||
| Description | I've had a few occasions when I'm hiding from searching AI and something odd happens. An AI will suddenly act like he sees me. He will give his, "There he is, get him!" bark, and sometimes start running. However, within a second or two, he suddenly stops and plays his "lost player" bark. "Where did he go?" Then he resumes searching. I'm not moving, so there is no change in my visibility. If the AI really could see me (and I'm in near, if not total, darkness), he should not have lost my position. Is it possible when he turns away to run around an obstacle, I go out of his POV for a second and he things I've disappeared? Not sure if that fits ever case, but I'll keep an eye out for it. This happened twice in a short playtest session tonight and I'm pretty sure I've seen it before. | ||||
