Summary0002821: Copy & paste from brush 2 patch: borked!
DescriptionI'm working on a large mansion where I am laying skirting board at floor and ceiling level. The skirting board is a 3 division curved patch between wall/floor & wall/ceiling, the brush I am copying from is the same height,depth & length.

    
Steps To Reproduce# if I copy from a horizontal face of the brush to the patch, the texture is stretched.
# if I copy from a vertical face of the brush to the patch, the texture is stretched.
# if I slice the brush in diagonally in half along its length and then copy from diagonal face of the brush to the patch, the texture is scaled correctly.
# if I then copy from the same diagonal face of the brush to a patch that's facing the opposite way (180 degrees), the texture is completely borked.
# if I then copy from the same diagonal face of the brush to a patch that's facing the opposite way (-Z 180 degrees), the texture is completely borked.

 have you tryed to use shift+mouse3 to paste the clipboard shader to your patch

ctrl+mouse3 will paste it matching the plane on wall, not normalised (borked)

set clipboard with using mouse3(in 3d viewport) over the wall/roof texture u require

you can also use the texture tool, with a face selected and your patch to align them. just make the texture normal with surface inspector. or you will be missing some vertex minuplation points because they are in the same space
