DescriptionCompass is black for several people, but not for everyone. Probably related to a graphics setting of some kind.

Possibly related: the inn's cellar doors were black as I approached them, black when I stood on them, black when picking the lock, and snapped to normal when unlocked. I checked the material definition and didn't see anything wrong (but I'm no expert there). The material is 'textures/darkmod/door/wood/board_brown_nails_hinge'.

Grayman sees black compass with "I was playing with normal ambient and enhanced interaction."

Fixed in r12796

Compass material was no longer getting ambient levels - however it should not be influenced by ambient, as such, put in a suitable static value.
