Summary | 0003306: func_door issues with models
Description | Using model for func_door doesn't work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_557UEsErM comparing to http://www.3dbuzz.com/training/view/doom-3-modding/series-1/doors
Steps To Reproduce | Create brush > Right click > Create Entity > func_door > Entity Properties > model > choose model > model.ase
Tags | No tags attached. | ||||
I assume the main issue here is that when changing the model spawnarg of the func_door entity (to an .ase or .lwo model) the child brushes are not removed from it? I can code that in, of course. The question remains whether a popup message asking the user for confirmation should precede the removal of all the child primitives or not? |

I actually forgot about this issue because I do what someone recommended at DR forum - create a model and then change its spawnclass to func_dooor, which works well for me :)
