I assume the main issue here is that when changing the model spawnarg of the func_door entity (to an .ase or .lwo model) the child brushes are not removed from it?

I can code that in, of course. The question remains whether a popup message asking the user for confirmation should precede the removal of all the child primitives or not?

I actually forgot about this issue because I do what someone recommended at DR forum - create a model and then change its spawnclass to func_dooor, which works well for me :)
