| Summary | 0003326: head_08 has non-solid gap at the back | ||||
| Description | If you shoot an arrow at the back of the head_08 series, it goes right through. http://forums.thedarkmod.com/topic/14529-arrows-and-pagan-head/ | ||||

This is very perplexing. The head_08 series that has a cap does not seem to have a gap. The head_08 base has a smaller gap than the pagan, and it seems to have been 'plugged' by an extra layer of mesh. The pagan head_08, however, is not solved by adding that extra layer of mesh. Changing the texture also has no effect. Moving the head forward (in case the back was sticking out of a bounding box somehow) also does not solve the problem. I have no freaking clue what is causing this. |
|
| Replacing the mesh in the first layer (the head and neck) with a different mesh causes it to work properly. | |
| Ok, well that's interesting. Spinning the head around so the back of the head faces forward, I was able to reproduce the behaviour from the FRONT of the AI. This suggests the issue does actually have to do with that part of the mesh. | |
| Can't figure out what was causing this, but adding an extra layer inside the head seems to have solved it. | |
