| Summary | 0003553: Add more sounds to player movement | ||||
| Description | Player sounds. I notice there are far more player sounds than in TDM. For instance, when mantling there is a sound of your hands catching the surface, and then rustling of your clothes as you pull yourself up. I think TDM could benefit from that as well--it's a way of adding more "body awareness" without actually having to worry about the player model. | ||||

Currently the swimming sound in player.def is empty: "snd_footstep_swim" "" edit: hmm, adding sounds to this doesn't appear to do anything. |

| I've added some subtle rustling to jumping and crouching (which also play during mantling) as well as when shouldering and dropping bodies. Tried some for running, but it tended to be distracting. | |
