I put a wench in a map and gave her the wench/bare_feet and she looks correct. It's possible I fixed this last year and forgot to close this...if no one is reporting the problem anymore I will need to see an example I can reproduce. | |
I can't figure out what had to change to make this work. I've been through the materials and skin files for the wench. Can you point me to the actual change so that I can make sure it's included in 2.04? |
This is not fixed in the latest 2.05 svn, at least not in Requiem. Springheel must not have committed his fix, if he had one and wasn't simply mistaken. Or maybe it's a map issue. There's a console warning to go with it: WARNING:Couldn't load image: models/md5/chars/townsfolk/wench/wench_bodice *the missing material isn't named in the skin |
Ok so it does work in a test map in both 2.05 SVN and in the Beta 2.04. I got to the bottom of it. A material decl went missing from tdm_ai_wench.mtr when Springheel overhauled the wench in 2.03. models/md5/chars/townsfolk/wench/wench_bodice (rv13705) It's not used in the new wench model, which will always override the old model where mappers have used a standard wench AI, but Requiem uses func_animates for the church congregation and they reference the old wench model directly. Replaced the def and that fixes it in Requiem. |
