Summary | 0004279: Ambient light brightens objects inconsistently | ||||
Description | If you put two objects beside each other and rotate one of them; the first will appear much darker or brighter than it should under ambient light. This results in some models appearing much brighter in ambient light than they should. There are no theories yet about why this is happening. It affects some models quite strongly, but may not affect certain models at all? It seems to affect all stages of the material--diffuse, specular and normalmap. The effect is not visible in 1.07, but is visible in 2.02, so whatever caused it happened in between those two versions.
