Summary0004712: Mission finished markers missing in mission list
DescriptionIn the mission selection list in the main menu, the tick marks to the right of each already finished mission's name, are missing.
Steps To ReproduceFinish any mission at any difficulty and look for the completion marker in the mission list.

Just updated to latest 2.06 and markers are still not visible in x64-Version on Windows 7. Uploaded a screenshot with a completed mission selected.

Could you please:
1. attach your \fms\missions.tdminfo contents.
2. write value of cv_default_mission_info_file CVar.

Then edit your darkmod.ini and set:
  LogInfo=1
  LogClass_MAINMENU=1
This enables additional logging.
Then:
3. Start fresh TDM, open some late-game save (preferably not the "Mission 1 Final" type), complete mission. Immediately after that take a conDump. Then exit game, and attach BOTH the condump and Darkmod.log.


Sorry for the complicated instructions. It looks that handling mission DB uses mixed debug output: some messages go to game console, while others go to darkmod.log file.


P.S. Since I do not see such problem locally, and no one else complains, the only way is to investigate the problem on your machine.

Don't know how to get the cvar - typing it in console only told me that it is not a valid command.

But did the remaining instructions and also attached a fresh screenshot that makes it pretty clear, that the missions.tdminfo is found and updated properly. It correcly shows, that i just replayed WS1. This information survived the restart.

P.S.: Changing linebreaks from LF to CRLF might make the darkmod,ini more accessible for Windows users. I know how to get an editor that works well with LF - but most Windows users don't.

Yes, sorry.
That was clearly a wrong direction, since you see the information about when you completed the mission an on what difficulty.

I have found the exact reproducibility criterion: the scroll bar overrides the green ticks.
So if you have only a few missions, then scrollbar is hidden, so you see the ticks. When you have many missions, then you see scrollbar, but you don't see the green ticks.

I have added a bunch of related issues. All of them are either about finished mission ticks or about slider or about the horizontal space in the mission names list.

However, I cannot find an issue or forum post about the scrollbar added.
I hope someone can add information about it and continue with fixing this problem.
