|Target Version||TDM 2.07||Fixed in Version||TDM 2.07|
|Summary||0004827: Savegame image incorrect|
|Description||When a weapon is raised during a savegame, the weapon icon is magnified in the saved graphic.|
|Tags||No tags attached.|
|On my end the hud is not visible at all. What is your screen ratio?|
Tried that resolution/aspect ratio, but still the inventory icon is not showing up at all. In addition, my savegame screenshots are far less res, see attached image.
|Unable to reproduce on the latest 2.07 build.|
The original problem is gone, but now I'm getting lines drawn as part of the image capture.
Also, when I load the savegame, there's a flash of these lines on the screen before they disappear.
Savegame (rear2.zip) for Braeden Church attached.
Tested with SVN rev 15427.

Wow. Pretty strange.
Please post your Darkmod.cfg.
(I tried a bunch of settings variations but never saw that artifact.)

Not at home to test but try changing your tdm_screenshot_format to jpg.
There might be some broken logic between the two screenshot modes.
Did, no joy.
My format setting was "tga", but the saved image was "jpg".
Changed setting to "jpg", got a "jpg" image.
Ignoring setting, defaulting to "jpg"?
Separate problem from the lines?
When I save a game, and leave the save game menu and go back to the game, the lines appear painted on the screen for the first few frames before disappearing.
So I'm guessing that the lines are there in the rendering buffer, which is why they show up in the saved image, and they work themselves out during the first few frames after returning to the game.
|Does that happen for a quick save?|
Yes, quicksaved image have the lines.
But no lines are painted on the screen (that I can see) during or immediately after the Quick Save.
- revision 7817 does not have lines on the save game preview
- no HUD on the preview
- no idea why HUD can only render that broken on the preview pic
|We don't need HUD data in save screens anyway.|
