Summary | 0000488: AI problems with the Thug | ||||
Description | The thug with the torch get's sometimes stuck in the door, see attached screen. He also is not able to relight the torch in the courtyard, he just spams the console with messages "hey who put out niche torch" and "for my safety I should relight it", but he never does, even when he doesn't get stuck in the door. Not sure if these two things are related. | ||||

These issues are completely unrelated. Angua has been working on the LightSwitchOnState to address this problem, so I guess it will be fixed soon. The AI stuck in doors problem is a different one. |

Relighting torch should work now. I have never seen the thug getting stuck in the door like this, what did you do to get this? |

Nothing, honestly :) I just snuck up on the wall, climbed over this and there he was standing there. |

Yup, got him squeezed by the door too. Let's see what I can do... | |
It might because: * the door is autoclosing after him/a certain time * the AAS file is out of date, causing the AI to turn on the spot or do other wierd things So he might get stuck inside the doorway, then get trapped by the door. |

I've improved the door obstacle avoidance code a bit, problems with doors should be a lot less likely than before. | |
