Summary | 0005695: Force feedback support
Description | Now that gamepad support was introduced in TDM 2.09 and I got my new controller working perfectly via X-input interface, I was wondering if we could support force feedback (vibration) effects for even more detail and immersion. I believe this would be a fun addition to have in certain circumstances, such as the player taking damage or being within in radius of a sound with shake enabled (s_shakes). From my understanding it's mostly a signal the engine needs to send to the controller at the right time.
Additional Information | In Linux you can use the "fftest" command to make the controller vibrate using various patterns. joyutils is FOSS so the fftest code should offer an example on how to do it.
