| Summary | 0005737: Textures View: substring searchbox | ||||
| Description | I think a helpful feature would be to add a filter searchbox to the Textures View. Ideally, this would do a substring search of the materials, and filter the displayed materials to match what is in the searchbox. The purpose of this would be to allow the user to quickly browse and search the Textures View. Example: if the user types in 'stone', then the Textures View would only show materials that have 'stone' somewhere in its material name. I've attached a mock-up image of what this could possibly look like. | ||||

I think a texture filter already exists, it can be activated in Preferences > Texture Browser > Show Texture Filter Is this doing the job for you? |
|
| Oh my goodness, I had no idea this functionality already existed -- THANK YOU! This is absolutely perfect! | |
