|Summary||0005818: 2.14pre1: DR doesn't recognise various materials|
|Description||Comparing DR 2.14pre1 and DR 2.13, which both share the same "Game/Project Setup" settings on my PC, I noticed that all kinds of materials on various models and in the Media Browser show up as "Shader not found" in DR 2.14pre1. For example:|
leather_chair_001 (on stagecoach.lwo)
crown1 (on necklace_emerald.lwo)
diamond_bc (on diamond_large_2.ase)
textures/darkmod/wood/boards/tdm_crate03 (but not textures/darkmod/wood/boards/tdm_crate04)
It kind of reminds me of the issue in the past where DR wasn't able to recognise materials whose name started with "table".

Now it happens on my DR 2.13 install, too, and with the same materials. When I wrote this bug report I had both DR 2.13 and DR 2.14pre1 up side by side and the materials were still working fine in DR 2.13.
Could be to do with the fact that the TDM install I'm using is a dev build? If I move the FM from my dev build install to either my 2.09 or SVN install the materials show up fine again.
|A look into the console reveals that there's a consistent problem with loading asset files from tdm_models02.pk4. Furthermore, running the tdm_installer.exe now fails when it reaches tdm_models02.pk4. I'm pinning this problem on the tdm_installer.exe now.|
