Summary0000611: Ropes sometimes deploy rigidly straight out of surfaces instead of ragdolling
DescriptionOn occasion, rope arrows fired into a surface (e.g. a wooden wall) will deploy their ropes in a perfectly straight line hanging in midair, rather than doing their normal ragdoll deployment.

Additional InformationReproduction conditions are unknown, but this may have something to do with firing lots of arrows into a single entity (including worldspawn). The error sometimes (always?) manifests on a per-entity basis.

This is more reproducable if you fire them into the middle trunk of a tree.

Added an extra "m_rope.activate( m_rope );" where deploy angle is set.

Needs more testing as confirmation.

Put an extra "m_rope.activate( m_rope );" right after sys.spawn. No longer deploys rigid.

NOPE NOPE NOPE, I screwed up. "Stiff rope" starts having a significant chance of happening after firing 4 rope arrows.

"stiff rope" also is partially a child problem of how AFs aren't accepting impulses quite right.

I just witnessed this in Sir Taffsalot's new beta mission. It only happened once and I did not know about the "4 arrow rule" but it occurred on my first shot.
