I think I might be on to something, Im seeing this "ballon/infotip" popup on start menu items in OpenShell and a few other instances in Windows 10. so am currently looking for a registry/gpedit hack to disable these damn popups in the hopes that it will fix it for DR aswell. bt_popup_wtf.jpg (15,131 bytes) |

So non of the registry hacks or gp edits disabled the baloon popups. However I did notice the default behavour in windows isnt being replicated in DR. Windows: - when you hover over an item after a 0.5-1 seconds a ballon tip appears. - if you move the mouse at all, the ballon popup will instantly disappeer. Darkradiant: - in DR moving the mouse dosent get the ballon popup to disapear. - you have to move the mouse cursor completely outside the layers windows to get the ballon popup to disapear. |

As first measure, I've increased the delay before popups are shown to 2,5 secs - maybe that's enough for them to not get in the way. If this is still not helping, I will add ways to disable them. |

Thanks, will get testing once the new version is up. Or is the current build on GitHub stable enough to daily drive..? |
