I don't think we will do it. Right now there is no "glitch", there is a short pause. Everything is paused completely while the game is saved. Indeed, modern games are usually designed in such a way that when you press save, the whole game state is somehow copied. Then the game continues, and the savefile is generated from that still copy of the game state. However, neither TDM nor Doom 3 was designed with this in mind. It would require tremendous refactoring and introduce many bugs (and will continue introducing them forever). Too high cost in order to fix such a small issue. |
