| Summary | 0006693: Cloning should place new object in active layer | ||||
| Description | If you clone an object, it remains in the original layer it was created in. It should be placed into the currently active layer which may be different. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. On a new map, create an object. It will be placed into the 'default' layer. 2. Create a new layer called 'test' and make it active. 3. clone the object from step one. 4. on the Layers tab, untick the 'test' layer. Both object are still visible meaning the cloned object was placed in the default layer. | ||||

| I found that when you convert a brush to an entity it does automatically move to the active layer. | |
