| Description | Believed known but not yet tracked. This is a long enduring issue TDM has had, where (this is a guess) separate animation channels get out of proper synchronization, just basically playing whenever they do instead of having proper start/stop times. See linked video. It shows a couple of examples of: 1. first walking around fine 2. after playing a lookaround animation*, the arms become homologous to the legs (very unnatural and bad looking) 3. after turning around at patrol point, the animations are properly reset to how they should behave http://208.49.149.118/thedarkmod/temp/badanim.wmv *Any animation will do here, lookaround, checking for sword, stretch, etc. Also, sometimes a player bump or obstacle in the way will screw up the animation sync as well. Should be fully reproducable, happens often, only have to watch them for a bit. Shouldn't just be about this single AI, but rather the animation set, because it applies to the citywatch elite as well. | ||||

I added a "syncAnimChannels" call to the scripts, this should resolve the issue. Please update your PK4 and scripts and check if this has gone. A good testmap is test/walk. |

| So much better. I will keep an eye out for this (of course; hard to miss it!) and reopen if necessary, but I believe this looks good now. | |
