Summary0000091: Bound particle crashes upon contact with (or leaving?) geometry
DescriptionI have a couple of rooms separated by a door and portal.
Within the room is a citywatch guard, with a simulated torch: there is a tdm_fire_torch particle connected to him with "bind" at approximate arm's length.

When he is alerted, and caused to walk through the doorway, Doom3 crashes every time. The particle clips into (or out of, depending on how you regard it) the geometry of the doorway.

I'm doubting this is TDM-specific, but I remember some monsters in D3 native had particle effects, and moved about with them.

No idea why this was closed, but it has not been validated, and afaik, no one said anything about it being fixed.

Please do not close issues without validating a fix first.

If a fix is believed in place, mark it ready for testing, not closed.

From reading this description, I'm almost 100% sure that this was due to some bugs in the LAS code, which were fixed long ago.
